Staff at Clarriots Care’s Milton Keynes and Bedford office are celebrating after receiving a ‘Good’ Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating during a recent inspection.
The home care service was found to be performing well across all five areas of the inspection and staff demonstrated a good understanding of how to ensure people’s needs were met and maintain dignity in care.
The CQC carries out regular checks on health and social care services, ensuring that the care provided is safe, effective, well-led and responsive.
Shabir Sabur, the owner of the Milton Keynes and Bedford Clarriots Care office, said: “We strive to deliver the best quality of care possible and I’m thrilled that the CQC report highlights the hard work of our team. I’d really like to thank our care team for their continued support and hard work.”
The CQC report praised the team at Milton Keynes and Bedford for giving people consistency of care by ensuring customers see the same staff members. They also noted that staff had gathered information about the people they support – this included information on their family and life history, their hobbies and interests.
