A Coventry care provider has been rated ‘Good’ across all five areas of a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
Staff at Clarriots Care’s Coventry office were found to be performing well in all areas of the on site inspection and demonstrated that they deliver a consistent level of care and a good understanding of how to ensure people’s needs are met.
The CQC carry out regular checks on health and social care services, ensuring that the care provided is safe, effective, well led and responsive.
Angela Bennett, Registered Manager of the Coventry office, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that the inspection report highlighted that our care team are well trained, caring and have a good understanding our customers’ needs. We are a very dedicated and committed team and continuously strive to provide a high quality service.”
The CQC report praised the team for giving people consistency of care by ensuring customers are allocated the same staff members. They also noted that customers and relatives were involved in making decisions about the care provided and were able to tell the care workers what they wanted. The report also confirmed that the Coventry office had recently received an award from www.homecare.co.uk – an independent care website, which had recognised Clariotts Care as a ‘Top 10 Recommended home care agency in the West Midlands’. This award was based on customer reviews about the care provided.
A relative of one customer who received care said the registered manager “understood the importance of pairing the right carer with my mother and what a fantastic carer we have. Mother’s carer is amazing, I say carer, it’s like having a family member coming into our home.”
